Ross Point is a wonderful choice for your group’s next event: Couples, singles, youth, men, women, family weekend or church retreats. You will have a place to enjoy your educational training, board meeting, leadership development or special workshops. Whatever the type of meeting you are having, Ross Point provides quality lodging at very affordable prices.
Riverside & Thailand
Riverside is an 18-room (52 single beds) motel-type Adult Conference Center that was designed to give adult groups the comfort and privacy they want along with the traditional beautiful camp setting. Twelve rooms overlook the river. Each room sleeps two to three guests. Thailand has three similar rooms that sleep two guests each. Each unit provides a peaceful setting for guests to enjoy the serenity of Ross Point. Linens and towels are provided. You’ll also enjoy the peace and quiet of no in-room telephone or television so you can enjoy the peacefulness of Ross Point as well as having many amenities.
Shoreline & Edgewater
These two lodges are designed for smaller groups that might enjoy a more intimate setting. Each of these buildings has 6 private rooms with 12 single beds or 6 king-sized beds, along with a central great room for meetings with seating up to 30 people or an area to relax and visit with other guests.
Ponderosa Room
Ponderosa opened in May 2014 and is a community gathering room along with a computer workstation alcove. The upper level includes Fir and Pine meeting rooms and the lower level includes Adam’s Place game room and camp store.
Mohr Dining Room
Overlooking the beautiful Spokane River, our dining room has a capacity to feed 200 guests. We serve wholesome, balanced meals family style at round tables to give guests a relaxed and enjoyable mealtime. We feature gourmet coffee as well as a garden-fresh salad bar at lunch and dinner.
Cabins
Bring your own sleeping bag or bedding and enjoy our economical dormitory-style cabins with 6 upper bunks and 6 lower bunks. Each cabin is heated and self-contained with a separate bathroom with a toilet stall, two sinks, and shower with changing area. 12 cabins provide a capacity of 140.
Ledbetter Chapel
Our cathedral-ceiling chapel overlooks the Spokane River and will seat 200 guests on comfortable padded chairs. A stage with a P.A. system, video projector, whiteboard, and other audio/visual equipment is available at no additional charge for your group’s use. High Speed wireless internet access is available. We offer 6 various-sized meeting rooms to meet the needs of smaller groups or break-out rooms ideal for workshops, training sessions, classrooms, etc. for larger groups.
Activities
Our facilities are available for more than just overnight camps and retreats. You can use our meeting rooms, challenge courses, and other fun recreational activities for day camps or team building events.
Challenge Course
The Challenge Course is a series of individual and group activities designed to produce a unique, adventuresome learning experience in a supportive atmosphere.
The high elements can be used to teach climbing skills, balance, coordination, trust and concentration. They naturally lend themselves to teaching confidence and understanding of perceived risk, while being very safe.
Low elements and initiatives are designed to build teamwork, cooperation, communication, goal setting and achieving trust and support.
The Challenge Course is designed to be used by groups from 10 to 15 in number, from 2-4 hours. Several groups can be operating at the same time. Facilitators are trained to lead groups from 10 years to Senior Citizens, and varying fitness levels.
