Open Positions:
Housekeeping (Guest Services) and/or Kitchen Assistant
Qualifications:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Knowledge of general kitchen procedures and/or food preparation and housekeeping (ie vacuuming, cleaning all areas of camp)
- Good physical, emotional and spiritual health and active in the Christian faith
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill daily work as scheduled by the Food Service or Guest Services Supervisor
- Assist cooks as needed in meal preparation and serving: prepare beverages, salads, desserts, meal compliments, and set up plates for food service
- Fulfill daily scheduled guest service (housekeeping, dishwashing, maintenance, etc.) responsibilities
Lifeguard
Qualifications:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Hold current Red Cross Senior Lifesaving Certificate or equivalent (there is still time to get certified)
- Good physical, emotional and spiritual health and active in the Christian faith
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill daily scheduled guest service responsibilities such as Guest Services, dish-washing, and maintenance
- Be on duty, provide leadership and supervision for all scheduled swimming
- Keep beach, swim area and equipment in safe and clean condition
- Provide leadership, supervision, and assistance with organized recreational activities as scheduled
This position begins mid-June and concludes the third week of August. It is a paid position that includes room and board.
